Kids agree—Linville rocks! We’ve always been about family traditions here, but we’re really excited to offer even more opportunities for the younger generation through our action-packed Kids’ Camp. Places fill quickly, so be sure to register ahead of time by calling (828) 387-1314. The cost is $32 per day, and each day is an adventure in the making—so be sure to ask for a daily schedule. Kids’ Camp is offered mid-June until mid-August.

Kids’ Camp

Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., our energetic camp counselors engage kids ages 4 through 12 in all kinds of activities, from scavenger hunts to Linville’s own version of Capture the Flag. Now located in the Alan Dickson Center, Kids’ Camp is more awesome than ever, with areas for games, crafts and two large indoor recreation areas.

Splash!

Older kids can enjoy our new olympic-sized, salt-water swimming pool, while the younger set can splash away the hours in the fenced-in kiddie pool, complete with its own mushroom fountain. Camp staff and four certified lifeguards will be one hand at all times to ensure everyone has the most fun and safest experience possible.

Fun field trips

Several days a week, kids go on cool field trips around the area. It may be a picnic and hike to Linville Falls, or even a trip to the top of Grandfather Mountain by way of the bear habitat. Throw in a zipline or two and you’ve got an amazing summer vacation that will be reminisced about for years.
