The Eseeola is a truly singular experience, and we want to make sure that each and every guest has the best possible stay. That’s why we don’t budge on certain house rules—from deposits to pets. Please review our policies so you’ll know what to expect when you’re here.
A deposit equaling one night’s stay is required at the time of the reservation. The deposit applies to the fulfillment of your designated length of stay. Early departure results in forfeiture of deposit. We accept American Express, MasterCard, and Visa.
Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. We therefore adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Cancellations made at least 15 days prior to arrival will result in a full refund minus a $50 administration fee. Cancellations made within 15 days of your confirmed arrival date will result in forfeiture of your deposit (regardless of the reason for cancellation, including personal or family emergency). However, you are always welcome to send a friend in your place.
Check-in time is after 3:30 p.m. Check-out is before 11 a.m. Our high-occupancy rate prevents us from allowing early check-ins or late check-outs.
The Eseeola Lodge Welcomes Guests with Disabilities
The Eseeola Lodge is committed to providing for our guests with disabilities, including those individuals with disabilities who are accompanied by a service animal. All service animals must be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Unfortunately, we do not accept pets. We do allow service animals in compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The Eseeola Lodge will accept requests for specific room locations and numbers at the time the reservation is taken. We will make every effort to grant these requests. However, they are not guaranteed. Guest history and length of stay are the primary factors in room assignments.
Resort Service Charge and Tax
A resort service charge of 15% will be added to your nightly room rate. This charge covers high speed wireless Internet in guest rooms and public areas, use of computers in the business center, morning coffee, paper delivery, ice delivery and access to fitness center, pool area facilities and croquet. This charge also is in lieu of gratuities for servers for any meals included in your rate as well as for housekeeping service gratuities.
For a la carte food and beverage service, 20% will be added to the check. Additional gratuities to any employee who has rendered exceptional service on your behalf is at your discretion.
The resort service charge and room rate are both subject to North Carolina state sales tax.
