The Eseeola Lodge and Linville Golf Club are closed for the season.
We'll begin taking reservations for 2014 in December. The resort will reopen Thursday, May 15th.
The new fitness center, the first section of the much anticipated Alan T. Dickson Activity Center, is open. The spa is slated to open Labor Day weekend.
Club members and hotel guests can pursue their fitness goals in the comfort of our new facility. The fitness center is furnished with state-of-the-art exercise equipment and staffed by our personal trainer, Chas Deal, ACSM-CPT.
The fitness center opening will be followed by the new spa which is expected to open Labor Day weekend. The spa boasts five treatment rooms along with an area for manicures and pedicures.
Golfweek has named Linville Golf Club as a 2014 Best Resort Course.
Selected by a nationwide team of golf course raters, Linville shares this honor with some of the most esteemed courses in the country. For a complete list of the 2014 winners, watch for Golfweek's Ultimate Guide to Golf Course Living and Great Escapes issue due out early 2014.
The new Alan T. Dickson Activity Center, which will replace the old pool complex, was slated for completion by July 4th. However, due to inclement weather—over 20" of rain in July alone—the opening has been delayed. The fitness center is expected to open the weekend of August 18. The spa and the pool should be up and going by Labor Day weekend.
While construction on the new facility is being completed, hotel guests are invited to use the fitness center and swimming pool at the Williams YMCA, a short five-minute drive from the lodge. Massage services are offered in our guests' hotel room by appointment.
The new Alan T. Dickson Activity Center will offer hotel guests over 15,000 square-feet of new amenity space. The complex includes a spa and fitness building, a separate children's activity building adjacent to a zero-entry wading pool, a teen pavilion, and covered patio for enjoying a poolside lunch. The buildings surround the new 25-yard, salt-water pool with lap lanes and sun shelf (for those who want to catch the rays and cool their heels).
In other words, we think the new complex is going to be well worth the wait!
